E. S. Warren, aged 90 years, a resident of Houston for the last 10 years and a retired farmer, died Thursday morning at the home of his son, Dr. A. A. Warren, 419 West Alabama Street. Mr Warren came here from Rogers, Arkansas, where he was the owner of a large farm, but was born and reared in New York state.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. E. S. Warren of Houston; two daughters, Mrs. C. H. Francis of Los Gates, Cal., and Mrs. J. Roy Ellis of Monett, Mo., and five sons, Dr. A. A. Warren of Houston, Dr. H. F. Warren of Chicago, Dr. F. G. Warren of Oklahoma, Dr. F. W. Warren of El Paso and Dr. W. L. Warren of Dallas.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock from the residence of his son, Dr. A. A. Warren. Rev. Sam R. Hay and Rev. William D. Ryan will officiate. Interment will be in Glenwood cemetery. The pallbearers will be: Active, Dr. J. H. Glenson, Dr. G. S. Morris, Dr. R. C. Cooley, Dr. Stovall, W. W. Fondren and F. P. Sterling: honorary, A. A. Sterling, B. Frank Sterling, R. S. Sterling, G. D. Joiner and J. A. Dearing. Settegast-Kopf Undertaking Company will be in charge.
