Austrian Royalty. Archduke of Austria, also known as Franz Karl of Austria. He married Sophie Friederike, Princess of Bavaria, the daughter of King Max Joseph of Bavaria and his second wife Queen Karoline. He was father of Franz Joseph Habsburg (1830-1916), Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary. His heart is buried in the Augustinerkirche, Vienna, and his entrails in St. Stephen's Cathedral (Stephansdom).
