Harry O. Owen, 60, of 1527 Lazy Lane, died at 5 a.m. Saturday in a local hospital.
A native of Worthington, Missouri, he was reared and educated in Kansas City and lived there until moving to Corpus Christi in 1964. He was an Army veteran of WWII and a retied agent underwriter for Wayne Six Insurance.
A Funeral service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Seaside Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Andy Davis, Assistant Pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating. Burial will follow.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Kay Farmer, Corpus Christi; three sons, Larry E. Owen, Lincoln, Nebraska, Dennis H. Owen and Phil R. Owen, both of Corpus Christi; a sister, Mrs. Katherine Autry, Kansas City, Missouri; two grandsons, Todd Owen and Gregg Owen, both of Lincoln, Nebraska.
