Roscoe was the son of Major and Lillie Florence (Hall) Norris. He married Barbara Ann Smith in 1951 and they were the parents of five children: Roscoe Mager Jr., Jerry Mager, Barbara Roxanne, Sharon Kay and Tina Marie.

NORRIS - Funeral services for Mr. Roscoe Mager Norris, 56, a resident of Rt. 1, Box 332, Durham, will be conducted Friday at 3:30 p.m. at the Clements Funeral Home Chapel in Hillsborough by Rev. Eddie Franks.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Mr. Norris died Wednesday afternoon at the Duke Medical Center following a lengthy illness. He was a carpenter with Randy Wilkins Construction Co.
The family will be at the home of Mrs. Marie Wilkins of Pinewood Trailer Ct. in Efland. They will receive friends at the Clements Funeral Home, 148 Churton St., Hillsborough, Thursday evening from 7 until 9 p.m.
