James John Stockmaster, 81, died Thursday, December 19, 2002, in the Lutheran Home at Toledo. He was born January 20, 1921, and served in the U. S. Coast Guard from 1942-46. James was preceded in death by wife Beulah (Dunaway), 1992 after 52 years of marriage. He retired from Gulf Oil after 32 years and worked 8 years for the Wheeling Lake Erie Railroad.
Surviving are son, James D. Stockmaster; Daughters Frances M. Brock; Anna R. (Dave Howard) Stockmaster; sister, Rita Ruhl; grandchildren, Amy (Sam) Phantalasy,Toledo, Ohio,Frank (Jasmin) Stockmaster, Schweinfort, Germany and Andre (Andras) (Schwinfold-Stockmaster)Schwigon, Germany; great grandchildren; Dylan L. J. and Vasana S.M., Toledo, Ohio, Scotty L A, Lou-Ann H, Leyla S., Schweinfurt, Germany, Fransisca and Jeannette Schwigon, Germany. He was preceded in death by his children; Carl A.(Infant), Charlotte A.(Infant), and Frank Lee Stockmaster (8-7-1989).
Friends may call at Hoeflinger Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., Saturday from 10 AM until the time of Funeral services at 1 PM Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family suggest tributes to the charity of the donor's choice.
Additional information:preceded in death his parents; Anthony Lawrence & Frances Rosina (Pfitzer) Stockmaster, sibley: Joseph "Martin", Lawrence Anthony, Frederick Daniel, Theresa Frances Parkos-Hofbauer, John James, Rita Rosina Ruhl and Richard Leo Stockmaster. Also addition Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren from Germany from James Daniel Stockmaster.
