Charles Larry Cardon, 23, died Feb. 3 in the prison riot of Santa Fe.

A rosary will be recited tonight at 7 o’clock at the Getz Funeral Home Chapel with funeral mass scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Health Catholic Church with the Rev. Joaquin Resma officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

He is survived by his grandmother, Tomosa C. Barela of Las Cruces; and four aunts: Elvira C. Smith of Las Cruces, Marcelina C. Tellez, Natalie Tuerrita and Gen Napolie, all of Los Angeles, Calif.

Pallbearers are Raymond Jimenez, Jerry Smith, Arthur Smith, Hubert Calcum, William Calcum and Kevin Williams.
