I work for MT. Washington Cemetery in Independence Mo. I am doing research on the History and there is a lot of history. Dating back passed the opening of the cemetery in 1900.
We have many of the first families that went west on the wagon trains. James (Jim) Bridger DOB:1804- first white man to see the Great Salt Lake. Also the McCoy's, Nathan Scarritt, Union Civil War Veterans, William Rockhill Nelson (Kansas City Star newspaper), The Swope's, Edward Gates, Anne Ridenbaugh Bird, Senator James Reed, Clarence M.
