"In Wilkes County on the 4th inst., John GRIFFIN, Atty-at-law, to Miss Sarah WILLIAMSON. Also at the same time, Dr. Thompson BIRD to Miss Susannah WILLIAMSON, both daus. of Col. Micajah WILLIAMSON. Feb. 16, 1793." (THE AUGUSTA CHRONICLE & GAZETTE of the STATE, 1790-1800.)

"Died on the 6th inst. in his 20th year, Thompson BIRD, Jr., oldest son of Dr. BIRD. He had served in the late expedition as a volunteer under Gen. FLOYD, in Capt. THOMAS' company of artillery; and developed inflammation of the lungs while in service, which finally terminated his life. Oct. 12, 1814." (THE CITY GAZETTE, 1803-1816.)

"In Macon on the 8th inst., Dr. Thompson BIRD in his 58th year. July 19, 1828." (THE SOUTHERN RECORDER, 1823-1844.)
