Anna was born May 11, 1914 in Germany to Anton and Barbara Cech. In 1937, she achieved her dream of immigrating to the U.S. Anna enjoyed gardening, cooking, fashion, and any cats and birds that came by her home.
Anna is survived by her son, George A. Seifert, of Garden City, NY; her daughter, Diane B. (John C.) Ackley, of West Hempstead, NY; grandson, John A. (Jess) Ackley, of Knoxville, TN; grandson, Michael G. Ackley, of West Hempstead, NY; granddaughter, Dianna J. Ackley, of St. James, NY; and several nephews and nieces.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, George L., her daughter, Linda M., and her three brothers, Anton T., William, and Joseph F.
Funeral services held at Fairchild Sons Funeral Home, Garden City, NY. Interment at Greenfield Cemetery.
