ROY F. CLARKThe funeral and burial services of Roy. F. Clark, a soldier from overseas, was held in the M. E. church at Moorefield last Thursday afternoon. The correspondent from that place to the Stockville Faber says; Roy is one of the Moorefield boys who volunteered in the service at the begining of the war and was sent to France.He saw much of the front service there and went over the top several times, and then took down with bronchial pneumonia and died before the close of the war.He was the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Clark,of this place and was raised in this vicinity.While his death was a sad shock to the family and his many friends, yet he died in the service of his country, and now rests in his home state and county.
