Daughter of Walter Gresham and Josephine Mann. The fourth of nine children born to the Gresham family. There was Edward, Esther, Walter Jr., Josephine, Thomas Dew, Frank S., Beulah, Philip and William M. Her father had the Bishop's Palace (Walter Gresham Home) built. She married W.T. Armstrong and had two children: Josephine Armstrong & Esther Gresham Armstrong.
