Anna Sue Omer Christenson, 77, of Terre Haute, IN. formerly of Madisonville, KY. passed away at 1:44 p.m. on Monday July 19, 2010 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.
She was born July 5, 1933 in Webster County, KY. to the late W.T. Omer and Thelma Travis Omer. She was formerly a waitress at Red Cardinal Inn in Madisonville. She was a member of Grapevine Baptist Church in Madisonville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph "Chris" Christenson; a daughter, Debbie Fields and a brother, Billy Omer.
She is survived by two sons, Jackie (Marcia) Franklin Kirk of Terre Haute, IN. and Darrell (Loretta) Kirk of Nebo, KY.; a brother, Jim Omer of Evansville, IN.; four grandsons, one grandaughter; two great grandsons; two step granddaughters; four step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday July 31, 2010 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Ralph Gill officiating.
Visitation is from noon until service time Saturday at Harris Funeral Home.
