Jilson Smith Holliday age 81 of Half Mountain Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the Baptist Health Lexington Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was born March 16,1933 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Luther and Dora Bailey Holliday.
Survivors include his wife Melovee Holliday, one son Henry Clay Holliday of Salyersville Kentucky,
five brothers Clarence "Bill" Holliday of Indiana, Charles Holliday of Salyersville, Kentucky, JD Holliday of Indiana, Ronald Holliday of Stanton, Kentucky, and Donald Holliday of Salyersville, Kentucky,
and four grandchildren Leah Holliday Ross, Lindsay Holliday Wheeler, Lauren Holliday, and Seth Holliday.
Besides his parents Jilson is preceded in death by one son Bobby Holliday, and one sister Mildred Bailey.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Saturday, July 12, 2014 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Dona Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Holliday Cemetery at Half Mountain, Kentucky. Friends may call the funeral home after 5 pm Friday, July 11, 2014 and anytime Saturday prior to funeral services.
