Funeral services for Mrs Viola Lytle, who died Monday in Huron, are scheduled at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Welter Funeral Home. The Rev. James Patten, Hitchcock, will officiate.
Burial will be in the Broadland Cemetery.
Viola Duncan was born Jan. 3, 1879, at Manning, Ia., the daughter of Chester William and Bessie Duncan. When she was a small girl the family moved to Pilger, Neb., where she attended school. She married Rayburn C. Lytle Nov. 30, 1900, at Stanton, Neb. They then moved to a farm near Brooklyn, Ia. and lived there 10 years. One son Chester Rayburn was born to this union. In 1910 they moved to a farm northeast of Broadland where she resided until two years ago when she moved to the Eventide Rest Home in Huron.
Survivors include her son, Chester, Gillette, Wyo.; one grandson, Clinton E. Lytle, three great-grandchildren, Curtis William, Gregory Rayburn and Helene Elizabeth Lytle, all of Gillette, Wyo.; three brothers William Duncan, New Underwood; Roland Duncan, Rapid City; Clyde Duncan, Sterling Colo.; one sister, Mrs. Olive Asche, Long Beach, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers and three sister.
Friends may call at the Welter Funeral Home Wednesday evening.
