Lorene LaVerne Morris Patterson, 79, of Stuttgart, widow of Cleo Patterson, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014, at St. Vincent's Health in Little Rock.

LaVerne was born November 28, 1934, in Stuttgart to Clyde and Teresa Fischer Morris. She was a sales clerk at Coker-Hampton Drug and Gift Shop and member of First United Methodist Church.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Valerie Patterson.

Survivors are daughter, Vivian Fisher of Little Rock; two brothers, Pete Morris and wife Betty and Charlie Morris of Stuttgart; two sisters, Betty Burns and Nita Roberts of Stuttgart; three grandchildren, Dalton Gulker, Cassady Fisher and Emma Bryan; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services, officiated by Dr. David Bush, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church with burial following in Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Visitation is 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Turpin Funeral Home.
