Mrs. Sadie F. Alexander, wife of Lawson C. Alexander, near Middletown, died at her home Thursday morning at the age of 74.
A daughter of the late Ezra and Lillie Doat Haupt, Mt. Tabor, she is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Olga Miller, Burkittsville; two sons, Bruce H. Alexander, Benevola, and Merhle S. Alexander, Boonsboro; her step-mother, Mrs. Esta Haupt, near Middletown; two sisters Mrs. Calvin Smith, Union, Ohio, and Mrs. Samuel E. Smith, Rohrersville; two brothers, Norman Haupt, Brookville, Ohio, and Roy Haupt, Springfield, Ohio; four stepbrothers, Wheeler, Guy, and Ira Haupt, all of near Boonsboro, and Clifford Haupt, near Middletown; and 12 grandchildren.
The body is at the Middletown funeral home where services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. Rev. Howard McCarney will officiate. Interment will be in the Reformed Cemetery, Middletown. Gladhill Co., funeral directors.
