Frank J. Bungard, 92 years old of Warren, Ohio, died Wednesday, February 1, 2006 in Community Skilled Care Center at 6:20 PM.
He was born September 9, 1913 in Woodruff, WV, son of the late Daniel and Emma Isiminger Bungard.
He attended the Leavittsburg Church of God. He enjoyed westerns, music and woodworking.
He worked as a millwright, retiring in 1975 from ITT Grinnell.
Survivors include one daughter: Florence Papalos of Warren; three sons: James of Champion, Robert of Warren and Gerald (Dawn) of Champion; He will be sadly missed by his eight grandchildren: Keith Papalos, Katy Chapman, Theresa Bungard (330 372-1543) , James Bungard, Tammy Eacona, Curtis Bungard, Jeremy Bungard and Wendi Peyton; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his 1st wife and mother of his children: Marietta Garrison, died 1982; 2nd wife: Helen Chambers, died 1995; 3rd wife: Edith Herbster, died 2004; two sons: Buddy & Randy Bungard; three brothers: Delmar, Homer and Lee Bungard.
Friends will be received 2-4 PM, Sunday, February 5, 2006 at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, Warren, Ohio, where funeral services will be held on Monday, February 6, 2006 at 11:00 AM with his grandson Rev. James Bungard, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Champion Township Cemetery.
