Jane W. Traylor is thought to be the daughter of Joel and Matilda White Traylor. We know from the census records she was born in Virginia.

On 8 Jan 1836 Jane W. Traylor married John Byas Windrow in Rutherford Co., Tn. They were the parents of 9 children:
- Isaac Newton
- Sarah C.- (b. 1841 - m. Joshua H. Floyd) - burial unknown
- Melissa - (b. 1842 - m. William Avaritt) - burial unknown
- Matilda
- John Walter - (b. 1847 - m. Susan Watson) - burial unknown
- Joseph Traylor - (b. 1848) - burial unknown
- Frances Vashti -"Fannie" (b. 1849 - m. Granville Rowland) - burial unknown
- Louisa Emma - FaG 205393851
- Martin Luther - FaG 198890574

Jane Windrow is found in the following US Federal census records:
- 1840 for Williamson Co., Tn under the name of her husband, as part of 4 free whites and 2 slaves
- 1850 for Rutherford Co., Tn with spouse, John Byas Windrow, and 7 children
- 1860 for Rutherford Co., Tn with spouse, 3 children and grandchild, Lizzie Floyd
- 1870 for Rutherford Co., Tn with spouse, 1 child, Martin Luther, and grandchild, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Floyd
- 1880 for Ruthford Co., Tn with her spouse, son mMartin and granddaughter, Elizabeth Floyd

The book, "Rutherford County, Tennessee Cemetery Records," states: this cemetery is across the road from Windrow Church. Many of the graves were marked with fieldstones and decaying boards. In the 1970's it was reported as being in very bad shape. There are over 100 unmarked graves."
Since this is the traditional burial grounds for the Windrow community I believe she is buried here, but it is unproven.
