He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict. Glen was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1299, Carlisle, and American Legion Post 421, Newville.
He was survived by his wife of 27 years; two sons, Richard E. George of Wake Forest, N.C., and Randy L. George of Newville; three brothers, Dale George of Carlisle, Cloyd George of Florida and Galen George of Carlisle; a sister, Patsy Myers of Carlisle; a stepson, Edward L. Kuhn of Gardners; a step-granddaughter; and two step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy, Charles F. and Chester George; and a sister, Clover McLaughlin.
Burial was made in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
