~The 1850 Census shows Polly alone with the children in Wabash, Shelby Co, Il and Benj, James, Ann and John (twins) and Levi are all showing that they were born in Missouri.

NOTE: After Joseph William was born in Wayne Co, Illinois in 1838, family moved to Missouri and rest of children born probably in Taney County, Missouri. Levi died in 1848 (same year that Levi was born) in Taney County and Polly and children moved to Wabash, Shelby Co, IL

~ 1854, oldest child, Elizabeth Rose has married Henry Robertson (Robison?)
in Shelby County, IL and

~ 1860 Census, all brothers and sister, Hester Ann, (except Levi) are living in Hickory Creek, McDonald Co, Missouri

~ In the 1860s, Brothers are found having enlisted in the Civil War
