She was the daughter of Thomas L. Ferguson and Sarah Jane Humphrey of Pike Co, Indiana. Family tradition says she was a skilled nurse with knowledge of medicinal plants. She married William Luttrell in Pike Co, Indiana in 1880, and later divorced him. She married Ratliff B. Van Bibber in Pike Co, Indiana in 1891, and lived with him in Evansville, Indiana. After his death, she married George Baker in Madison Co, Indiana in 1902. After his death she married Ed Watts in Kanawha Co, West Virginia in 1912. He may have preceded her in death, since she's listed as a widow in her death certificate. She had one daughter, Helen Ethel Luttrell, who married Elza Curtis Van Bibber. She died of cancer of the rectum on 29 May 1913 in Glassport, Pennsylvania, and was buried in Richland Cemetery on May 31, 1913.
