The Oklahoman, Sunday, July 14, 1963:
Mrs Minnie J. Thomas, 86, 1604 NW 46, died Saturday in an Oklahoma City nursing home. Services will be 2 pm Monday at Cherry-Adams Funeral Home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs Thomas was born in Grayson County, TX, but had lived in Oklahoma City the past 40 years. She was a member of Crown Heights Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Parmer E. Thomas, of the home; three daughters, Mrs W. C. Jackson, 2349 NW 36; Mrs Frank Patrick, 3704 NW 59; Mrs Dee Byers, Monterrey, CA; two sons, C. E. Thomas, Kingston; H. L. Thomas, Paducah, KY; and one sister, Mrs Vera Corkel, OKC.
