Deceased Name: Maye A. Tapp, 96, of Clark County

Maye A. Tapp, 96, of Clark County, widow of Robert J. Tapp, passed away Friday at Wolfe County Health Care.
A native of Powell County, she was born January 20, 1917, to the late Joe E. Abney and Mary Elizabeth Dawes. Maye was a member of the Franklin Avenue Church of the Living God.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert I. (Janet) Tapp, Kermit (Delores) Tapp, and Carl T. (Carol) Tapp all of Winchester; daughter and son-in-law, Betty (Billy) McDonald of Somerset, Ky.; brother, Joe Abney, of Winchester; sisters, Mary Layne of Clay City, and Eunice Renfro of Frankfort; and several grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday at 12:30 p.m. at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Ky., with the Rev. Ed Tackett and the Rev. Tom Hall officiating.
In care of arrangements is the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Winchester.
