Major League Baseball Player. Nicknamed "Kid", he was primarily a third baseman. He began his career in 1910 with the New York Highlanders as a shortstop where he played in 30 games. Two years later, he was the third baseman for the Washington Senators where he played until 1919. He led the league in at-bats for four seasons there. He was traded to the Boston Red Sox for the 1920-1922 seasons where he split between third base and second. Late in the 1922 season, the St. Louis Browns picked him up off waivers and played there for another year. In his 13 year career, he batted .264 with 1490 hits, six home runs and 451 runs batted in.
