"Alva Sheaters, 79, of North Canton, passed away Tuesday morning. A life resident of Green, he was retired from Turkeyfoot Lake Golf Course. Preceded in death by wife, Betty on October 1, 2000, Alva is survived by his son... daughters... 15 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; brother, Earl; and sister, Marie Goins. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Friends may call Friday, 11a.m. until time of service at Booth Funeral Home. Service will be at1 p.m., Rev. Glenn Rogers officiating. Interment at East Liberty Cemetery."
