Major League Baseball Player. He was primarily a pitcher for the Philadelphia Quakers of the National League from 1884 to 1887. He started 170 of the 183 games he appeared in over his career, comleting 165 and pitched 13 shutouts going 99-64 overall winning 30 in 1886. He also played over 50 games in the outfield batting .288 and hitting six homeruns and driving in 157 runs.
