Robert Jackson Williams, age 86, of Muston, passed away on Fridy, August 29, 2014, at Fairview Nursing Home, Mauston. He was born on May 15, 1928, in Marshfield, to Alwin and Edith (Young) Williams. He was raised on a dairy farm. He boxed in Golden Gloves and graduated a member of the National Honor Society from Marshfield High School.

Bob married Eileen Preston on Sept 2, 1948. In their 27 year union was born eight children. She preceded him in death. Bob married Regina White on Aug 6, 1976, joining four step-children to his family.

He attended the Univ of Wisconsin in Madison. He obtained his BS in Agriculture in 1951 and his Masters in Agriculture Education in 1956. Bob served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Transportation Corp during the Korean War. Bob taught at Lake Mills and Marshfield high schools.

He was employed with WI Dept of Agriculture for several years then joined Wisconsin Dairies Cooperative. He served as General Manager from 1968-1978. He continued as a consultant until 1984. He also served as president for many dairy organizations.

In Bob's retirement, he studied and became a consultant for fuel alcohol production. He enjoyed fishing, golf, painting, wood carving, playing cards and watching football. He never stopped problem solving.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Janis Brueggeman; son, Dennis; grandson, Daniel Simon; sisters-in-law, Doris and Kathy.

Robert is survived by his wife of 38 years, Regina of Mauston; sons, Randy amd Robert Jr of Madison and Timothy of Reedsburg; daughters, Kathleen of Ft Washington, PA, Kristine Simon of Mauston, Sharon (Kent) Sormrud of Chetek, Lynn Jackson-Williams of Madison; step-children, John (Gwen) Brennan of LaCrescent, MN, Nancy Brennan of Ashville, NC, Robert Brennan of Boise, ID and Linda Luck of Baraboo; 29 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; brothers, James of Stoughton, Duane (Darlene) of Neenah, John (Joan) of Marshfield, Stanley of Cincinnati, OH and William of Madison.

Burial with military honors will be in Pine Eden Cemetery, Wonewoc. WI.
