Received the following information from Find a Grave contributor, Mike (46865052) on January 2, 2021:

"Marriage Records 1799-1955, Pulaski Co., KY, Clerk of the County Court, p. 104--Silas Lee m. Rhoda Holmes, November 15, 1826, John Holmes [her brother] Surety."

"Drury Lee was born in Virginia bet. 1765-1770. He lived in Madison Co., KY and married his wife, Nancy Eoff, in Madison Co., KY but was not born there. Drury Lee is listed in New Madrid Co., MO in the Census of 1830, lived there, and died in New Madrid Co., MO (will probated February 22, 1843) listing all his children--source--New Madrid Abstracts of "Administrative Records," 1832-1846, p. 273-274."

"The Lee family, possibly consisting of brothers and cousins, crossed the mountains, first settled in Madison County, Kentucky from Virginia and later moved to Pulaski County, Kentucky. Silas B. Lee married Rhoda Holmes, daughter of Alexander and Jane McCaw Holmes in Pulaski County, KY on November 15, 1826. Between 1828-1830 Silas and Rhoda, along with Silas' brothers and parents, headed to Missouri settling in New Madrid County, Missouri. An account of this and other Lee family information is recorded from records of Lindsay Odell Stephenson, son of Lindsay V. and Rhodette Lee Stephenson: "This is a list of Silas Lee's first wife Rhoda Holmes family. . . They had eleven children born to them at New Madrid, Mo., 8 of these children and their mother died in New Madrid County, Mo. about 1848 to 1850 they died with cholera & yellow fever their grandfather Silas Lee moved back to Pulaski Co. - he returned with his 3 living children Silas Jr. & Frederick B. and My dear Mother Rho[dette]a E. Lee who married Lindsay Vardaman Stephenson of Lincoln Co. Dec. 1858."

Silas Lee (age 55) and Nancy (Pleasant) Lee (age 26) were married March 30, 1862 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. Information from Pulaski County, Kentucky Marriage Records - Book II - 1851-1863 - Pulaski County Historical Society.

The 1860, 1870, and 1880 Census reports show Silas Lee living in Pulaski County, Kentucky, and his place of birth as Kentucky. He is listed in the 1850 Census as living in New Madrid County, Missouri, but born in Kentucky.
