Aloysius was born in the small town of Ankum, Germany. He was the son of Josef Käller and Agnes Von Bokern. At the age of 16 he immigrated to the United States and settled in Louisville, Kentucky. About 1942 he married Louisville native Rita Zinner and they had one son, James. He worked for Hannan Motors for 25 years and was also an employee at the city of Louisville's garage. Aloysius died at the age of 77.
