Jay Marshall Bachman, 69, of Martinsburg, Blair County, formerly of the Harrisburg area, passed away early Friday morning at Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring.
He was born in Harrisburg, son of the late Jacob Clarence and Harriet (Mathias) Bachman. He was twice married, more recently to Pamela J. Blose on September 11, 1982 in Linglestown.
Surviving are his wife; 2 daughters: M. Theresa Bachman of Chambersburg, and Rebekah Rivero of Baltimore, MD; and 2 brothers: Gerald of Ann Arbor, MI, and Ronald of Camp Hill.
Marshall was a 1964 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School, Camp Hill.
He was previously employed as a technical editor at AMP, Inc., Harrisburg.
Marshall enjoyed trains and railroading, travel, cooking and the culinary arts, and playing guitar, and he had played in many and various bands in the Harrisburg area.
A private memorial service will be held at the John C. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, at the convenience of the family. www.pennlive.com/obits
