Harvey Beltz, 69, died suddenly at his home at 3:15 a.m. today from a heart condition. He was the husband of Rose Jones Beltz of Smicksburg R.D 1.
He was born December 5, 1900 in Plumville. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He had lived in Smicksburg, RD for one year, and formerly in Georgeville, and Freedom RD.
Surviving him are: His wife, Rose Jones Beltz; one son James of Pittsburgh; one daughter, Jean Hoffman of Butler; three brothers, Edward Beltz of Home R D; John of Freedom; Charles of Marion Center RD.
Friends will be received at the Bowser Funeral Home, Plumville from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Services will be held at the Funeral Home at 2:20 p.m. Saturday, August 13, the Rev. J. B. Trouman will officiate and interment will follow in the Georgeville Cemetery.
