William T Wright and his wife Mary are my gg grandparents on my mothers side. Little is known about him and his wife among family members so if anyone can contribute anything about him I would appreciate it.
William T Wright lived in Newberry SC and married Mary R
Blease, together they had 9 children.
William and Mary died within 3 months of each other leaving 3 orphaned children, the youngest being my g grandfather Joseph Benedict Mayer Wright.
They both are buried at Rosemont cemetary in Newberry SC along with all of their children except Emily Eason and Joseph Benedict.
Only two of their children lived to be mature adults, Emily and Joseph.
Annals of Newberry 1892 page 791.

William T Wright was long and favorably known as a dealer in stoves and tinware and also a tinner. He was a devoted member of the Baptist Church, the church never had a more strict and conscientious member, nor a warmer friend to the temperance cause. At the time of his death he was a little over fifty years of age. His wife, who was about 5 years younger than himself, was not quite forty-nine at the time of her death. She was Mary Blease. They sleep together in Rosemont cemetery, and resting near them in the same enclosure, lie six children, ranging in age from one month to 24 years. Two still survive.
