His works was influenced by precolombine culture and he is remembered for the "knots" in his paintings. One of his most famous paintings is "La Última Cena." His last performance entitled "Vivere e un'Opera d'Arte," was in april in Milan. As writer, he is remembered for his books "Canción y Muerte de Rolando," "Reinos," "Habitación en Roma," "Mutatis Mutandis," "El Cuerpo de Giulia-no" and "Primera Muerte de María." After the death of his longtime companion Michel, his health declined until his death. He died in Milano, Italy.
