Andrew Oilar, a War of 1812 veteran and a British POW, died in 1854 and is buried atop a small hill with 3 grandchildren. Oilar was also a first cousin to Abraham Lincoln, their mothers being sisters.

Andrew is the son of Henry 1766-1839 and Bathsheba (McGlamery) 1770-1863 Oilar. His wife was Charlotte Warnick 1800-1882.

He was a private in Captain Gabriel Cox's Company Ohio Militia
