Mrs. Benjamin Newhouse died Monday at her home in Wright Settlement at the age of 74 years. She had been in poor health for nearly a year, but had been confined to her bed for only a week. She had lived in the town of Rome about 30 years, having come here from Orwell, Oswego County, where she was born. She was a Christian woman and was a devoted member of the Baptist Church. Besides her husband the deceased leaves two daughters, Mrs. Mary L. Bielby of Rome and Mrs. Samuel Bielby of Westernville.
