Harry Alexander Baldridge, 63, died Wednesday morning, December 11, 1974 in Spartanburg Convalescent Center after a long illness.

Native of Baltimore, MD; son of Adm. Harry Alexander Baldridge (1880–1952) and Rosalie Thruston McDermont Baldridge (1883–1911); husband of Margaret Louise Brown Simmons Baldridge (1903–1979).

District Manager for Wade Hampton Chemical Company; member of First Presbyterian Church; a Mason; attended the U.S. Naval Academy.

Survivors also include a stepdaughter, Mrs. C.O. Melford; stepson, Charles Simmons; and brother, Capt. Edward F. Baldridge.

Also predeceased by a half-sibling, Jewett Alexander Baldridge (1920–1969).

Services were held at 3:00 pm, Thursday, December 12, 1974, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel by Dr. James Fogartie and Rev. Charles O. Milford; burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
