Michael Dennis Quinn was born November 10, 1947, to Dr. William E. and Jane Quinn. Michael's earliest years were spent growing up in Arcadia, CA where he attended Annunciation School and then, at the age of 10, moving to West Covina, CA at which point, he attended St. John the Baptist School in Baldwin Park and Pomona Catholic Boys High School in LaVern, (now Damien High). Michael went on to Mt. San Antonio JC where he earned a football scholarship to Colorado State University at Fort Collins. Michael worked for many years in management in the trucking industry, later moving on to enjoying 25 years of working for Costco in management. Michael was intelligent, had a keen sense of humor and was genuinely interested in the people who surrounded him. He could be fiercely private, too, and was a true homebody when not working. Michael was an avid reader and sports fan and loved nothing more than relaxing with a good book or a good game and his pipe. He also found great contentment in tending to the outside of his home, mowing the lawn and tending to other gardening needs. Michael was never too busy to lend a listening ear or to offer the soundest of advice when called upon. Michael was quite proud of his Irish heritage.

Michael was preceded in death by his daughter Caitlin, his sister Maureen and his brother Patrick. He is survived by his wife Olga Cookie Quinn, his son Daniel, and daughters Megan, Brenna, Sarah, and Maura, their spouses, numerous grandchildren, his sister Charlene Canchola, two nephews and three stepchildren.
