Daughter of Jean (John) Gabriel de Fazende and Charlotte Dreux Fazende, natives of New Orleans.

Married Jacques Villere on August 18, 1784, in the old St. Louis Cathedral of New Orleans, during the Spanish colonial period. This Creole family settled in St. Bernard Parish on their sugar plantation, called Conseil, and raised eight children.
