Lenny Dee was acclaimed the "Dean of American organists" and for years played national tours on his famous customized Hammond organ. He operated Lenny Dee's Dolphin Den and Lenny Dee's Kings Inn for years in the Saint Petersburg Beach area of Florida. He played with Jimmy Dorsey's Orchestra and made guest appearances on The Tonight Show with Jack Paar, The Ed Sullivan Show and The Lawrence Welk Show. In addition, he made 56 albums and was heard constantly on radio in the 1950s through 1970s.Popluar organist of the 1950's to 1970's. "Plantation Boogie" was a Top 20 hit in 1955.
