Adolfo (Adolph) Alaniz, age 70, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Doctor's Regional Hospital in Corups Christi, TX. Born in San Diego, TX., February 12, 1944.

He was preceded in death by his parents Agustin and Josefa Alaniz and brother-in-law David Moreno, Sr.

He was co-owner of AAA Appliance Service Co.for many years. He became a very successful insurance agent for Reliable life Insurance Co. and retired after 20 years of service.

He and his wife enjoyed traveling all over the world with his brother-in-law David Moreno, Sr. and sister Celina. His favorite pastime was barbecuing for friends and family. He was a lifetime Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs fan.

He is survived by his wife, Ester L. Alaniz and his four children, Sandra L. Salazar (Tom) from Corpus Christi, TX., John Edward Alaniz, from Irving, TX., Ricardo Ramos (Sonia) from Donna, TX., Melba Ramos Schaus (Steven) from Edinburg, TX., mother of Sandra and Eddy, Amelia C. Arredondo. siblings, Agustin Alaniz, Jr., (Rosa Emma), from San Diego, TX., George Alaniz (Elida) from Corpus Christi, TX., Celina Moreno from San Antonio,TX., four grandchildren, Karyn Lorrayne Salazar, Eden Ramos, Ariel Ramos, Rebecca M. Schaus and one great granddaughter, Lyla Jade. Mother-in-law, Audelia V. Lopez, (Malela), and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and many close friends.

Burial will follow mass at Seaside Memorial Park.
