H. S. Crocker of the well known firm of H. S. Crocker Company, San Francisco,, printers and stationers, died this week at his home in San Francisco at the age of 72 years. He came to California in the early days and established a printing establishment in Sacramento which was removed to San Francisco. He amassed a fortune at this business and through his connection with the construction of the Central Pacific railroad. He was the last of four brothers, Clarke E and Charles and E B Crocker having preceded him to the grave. He leaves a large family.∼He was the husband of Nellie Crocker and father of Charles H. Crocker. He died in a diabetic coma.
