Married Norman Ingles Bliss in 1845 in Nauvoo, Hancock, Illinois at the age of 15 1/2. When the Saints left Nauvoo and got to Winter Quarters she gave birth to Mary Ann Bliss (Stapley) (My great grandmother). About a year later, she left Mary Ann with Norman and moved back to Nauvoo and divorced him.

Her child with Norman Bliss:

She then married George Bryant Gardner in May 12, 1848. Divorced George when he wanted to add another wife.

From David Berry I received the following information:
Elizabeth and her son Johnny were NOT buried in the cemetery at the time of death (Elizabeth died in 1885, her young son Johnny died several years early. Per her request, for her burial, her young deceased son Johnny was placed in her arms in her coffin). The cemetery plot was purchased by the family when her husband died several years later. And per the cemetery records, it wasn't until 1905, that Elizabeth and Johnny were buried together in the Angelus-Rosedale cemetery.
