Martha Huffman, 81 of Wausau, went home to be with the Lord Monday, Ocotber 27, 2014 at her residence.
Martha was born January 1, 1933 in Mechanicsburg, Ohio to John Thomas and Lyda Mae (Bowers) Mahoney. She worked as a nurse in South Florida and attended Wausau First Assembly of God. She enjoyed watching NASCAR, especially her favorite driver Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Lyda Mae Mahoney; husband: James Rogers Huffman; son: Floyd Edward Huffman; sisters: Ruby Templeton, Gail Mahoney, Ethel Lucille Boatman; brothers: John Everett Mahoney, Alfred Oliver Mahoney, Robert Eugene Mahoney; grandson: Jimmy Huffman.
She is survived by her children: Betty Finch and husband Robert, Thomas Huffman, David Allen Howell, Wanda Marie Johnson; grandchildren: Sherry Smith, Tina Finch, Jamie Finch, Billy O'steen, Laura Pasquinelli, Bryan Howell, Tiffany Farr, Cynthia Charlene Warren; great grandchildren: James Finch, Kathrine Walker, Cristina Barnes, Matthew Barnes, Lane Colvin, Christopher "CJ" Colvin, Kiley O'steen, Courtney O'steen, Caitlyn Farr, Matthew Farr, Peyton Graves, Chase Warren, Aaron Warren, Lane Warren, Maggie Warren; great great grandchildren: Brayden James Walker, Jorden Reid Walker; Nick Pasquinelli and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 2p.m. EST Monday, November 3, 2014 at Sylvan Abbey Chapel in Clearwater, Florida. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Sylvan Abbey cemetery. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley in charge of local arrangements.
