She was born Nov. 28, 1908, in Springfield, the daughter of Harry and Isabelle Highfield Rice.
She married Frank J. Padget in 1927; he died in 1991.
Mrs. Padget was a lifelong resident of Springfield. She was a homemaker and also sold real estate for Padget Realty Co. She was a member of Woodside United Methodist Church.
Survivors: a daughter; a son; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: 2 p.m. Monday, Staab Funeral Home, the Rev. Eugene Bilotti officiating.
Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
