J.P. Moore received word this week from Prof. H. M. Johnson of Washington, D. C., that
Mrs. Johnson died March 6. She had been ill for some time. Prof. Johnson was formerly
superintendent of the Holton schools. The Holton Recorder, March 24, 1910.

From Washington Star] Funeral services ofMrs. Hosmer Johnson will be held tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock at the family residence, 1404 Emerson street northwest, Dr. John Reid Shannon, pastor of the Metropolitan Memorial church, of which Mrs. Johnson was a member, officiating. The interment will be private, in Rock Creek cemetery. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Hosmer M. Johnson, supervising principal of the ninth division public schools of the district, and one daughter, Margaret, aged eight years, and one son, Franklin, aged thirteen years. Besides the immediate family, Mrs. Johnson is survived by her mother, Mrs. George Bowman, and one sister, Katherine, both of whom were with her at the time of her death, and one brother, George Bowman ofDenver, Colo. Mrs. Johnson was born in Hatboro, Pa., but had been a resident ofWashington since early childhood. She was educated in the public schools and George Washington University .... The Holton Recorder,
