Musician. Rosas will best be remembered as the bass player in Neil Young's band. In the early 1970s, Rosas recorded an album for A&M Records as a member of a rock band called Tango. In 1985, he played on Joe Walsh’s album, 'The Confessor', and joined Walsh for a short-lived stint in Australia as a member of the Creatures from America. In 1987, while playing in Walsh’s touring band, Rosas met Neil Young at the Farm Aid III benefit. Young was impressed with the his musical skills and invited him to join his band. Between 1988 and 2009, Rosas would record with Young on six full-length albums and one EP, and would go on to become one of the most sought after studio session musicians, playing and recording with Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Rivers, Ron Wood, Etta James, and the short-lived reunion of the Buffalo Springfield, among others.
