John Larry Hayden (1937-2014), Age 77, of Cloverport, KY, died Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in Hardinsburg, KY.
He was a retired Veteran of the USAF where he served for 20 years. John Larry also retired, after 20 years of service, from Commonwealth Aluminum. He was a member of the Cloverport Baptist Church. John Larry enjoyed woodworking, genealogy, and was an avid fish pond builder.
He was born in Tobinsport, IN to the late William C. "Bill" and Louise Black Hayden.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Hilda Hayden of Cloverport, KY; 2 sons, Larry Dean Hayden of San Jose', CA, and Bobby Hayden of Hawesville, KY; 2 daughters, Lorie Hayden of Cloverport, KY, and Susan Brown (Jeff) of Balltown, KY. He is also survived by 7 Grandchildren; 10 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 16, 2014, 5-8 p.m. and after 8 a.m. until time for services on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Burns Funeral Home, 208 East Main Street, Cloverport, KY.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 17, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, Cloverport, KY. Burial in the Cloverport Cemetery.
