Death of James Harris.
James Harris, a life long resident of Marion, died Monday afternoon, after a two weeks' illness. Mr. Harris was born in Marion, June 15, 1850, and for several years was engaged in stock buying. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Eva Busby Harris, a daughter, Mrs. Florence Harris Gilmore of Chicago, a son Bert B. Harris of Hot Springs, Ark.; and one sister, Mrs. Florence McAfee of Marion. The funeral services will be private and will be held at the home of Mrs. McAfee Wednesday afternoon. The family requests that no flowers be sent.
