Born in Leachville, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Jerry and Blanche Bean Poe.
She was a retired seamstress. She had lived in California for over 30 years before returning to Leachville in 1994. She and her late husband, Pete, were longtime members of the Leachville First Baptist Church. Mrs. Dortch had spent the last few years in Northwest Arkansas, near her family.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald Crawford and Jerry Lee Dortch.
Survivors include three brothers, Frank Poe of Benton, Howard Poe of Little Rock and James Lee Poe of Leachville; sister, Alma Jean Phillips of Cabot; four grand-children and 10 great-grand-children.
Funeral services were at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville. Burial was in Leachville Cemetery.
