From the Craig Mirror-Friday, March 5, 1909:

"Cora Belle Fryman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Fryman, died at the home of her parents in Craig on March 1st. She was born July 8, 1893, making her at the time of her death 15 years, five months and three days.

The funeral was held from the Christian Church on Two o'clock and burial was in the Parrish Cemetery."

Cora Fryman, aged 15 years, 7 months, and 20 days, died at the home of her parents, J.P. Fryman and wife, in Craig, at 3 o'clock a.m. March 1. Death was caused by peritonitis, after eight days of suffering.

Cora was born Jul 8, 1903, on a farm two miles west of Bigelow, where her parents then resided. Her life was passed in Holt county and at her home. She was kindly, affectionate and generous and gave promise of a womanhood filled with good deeds and surrounded by devoted friends. She never made profession of a religious faith, but was a regular attendant upon the Christian Sunday school. Her choice was that Rev. L.M. Aldridge should conduct her funeral, which he did.

The funeral was largely attended and by all her school and Sunday school associates, who expressed much regret at her departure when life seemed fairest and most promising to her. The interment was in the Parrish cemetery.
